The International Students Community has the following objectives:
- To highlight the challenges and obstacles that face the international students in the U.S., particularly, the problems of learning the language, social and cultural adjustment, loneliness and homesick. Compliance with U.S. Laws, financial hardship, and the academic and the technological gap between international students from developing and least developed countries and their colleagues from advanced countries.
- To stress the importance of having a clear and enforceable methods to address the problems mentioned above.
- To assert the rights of equal opportunities and equal educational experience.
- To affirm that the U.S educational system, as a whole, will see great benefits when promoting diversity and empowering the role of international students within the U.S. educational institutions.
